Gaining Insights from the 93rd CMEF: A Precision Manufacturer’s Perspective

Release time:2026-04-13

From April 9 to 12, 2026, the 93rd China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), a premier event in the global medical and health industry, was grandly held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Under the theme “Innovative Convergence, Infinite Leap,” the exhibition brought together nearly 5,000 brand enterprises across an area exceeding 320,000 square meters.

As a company with over two decades of deep expertise in high-end precision manufacturing, Wuhan Flexmed Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. dispatched a dedicated team of technical and market personnel to Shanghai to observe this global medtech “bellwether” event.

During the four-day visit, the Flexmed team focused on key zones including medical imaging, surgical robotics,  and core components. We observed that the comprehensive integration of AI in healthcare, the clinical rollout of cutting-edge technologies like brain-computer interfaces, and breakthroughs in high-end imaging such as photon-counting CT have become industry focal points. Behind these innovations lie unprecedented demands on the machining accuracy, material properties, and surface treatment processes of critical precision components.

As the strategic manufacturing hub of the Flexmetal Group in Central China, we are dedicated to providing one-stop solutions for critical precision manufacturing for the medical, semiconductor, aviation, and telecommunications sectors. This visit not only allowed us to witness first-hand the technological advancements driven by the “premiere economy”, but also reinforced our commitment to continuously investing in process R&D and enhancing our complex component manufacturing capabilities.

Leveraging the Group’s integrated manufacturing platform of five factories (Shenzhen, Shanghai, Zhongshan, Wuhan, and Malaysia) covering over 54,000 square meters, Wuhan Flexmed Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has established mature capabilities in precision machining, component assembly, and a stringent quality control system. Looking forward, we will keep pace with the trends of medical equipment localization and global expansion, providing more reliable precision manufacturing services to help our downstream customers achieve seamless transitions from prototype development to mass production.
